ทำไมควรใช้ฟอนต์นี้
ฟอนต์ภาษาไทย (ส่วนใหญ่) และฟอนต์ภาษาอังกฤษ ออกแบบด้วยข้อจำกัดที่ต่างกัน ทำให้ขนาดตัวอักษรไม่เหมือนกัน ดังนั้น ใน Microsoft Word เมื่อพิมพ์สมการคู่กับภาษาไทย จะสังเกตได้ว่าฟอนต์ภาษาอังกฤษดูตัวใหญ่กว่าค่อนข้างมาก
ฟอนต์ Latin Modern Math Shrinked เกิดขึ้นมาเพื่อแก้ปัญหานี้ โดยนำฟอนต์ Latin Modern Math มาดัดแปลงด้วยการ "ย่อตัว" ให้เมื่อพิมพ์คู่กับข้อความภาษาไทยด้วยขนาดฟอนต์เดียวกันแล้ว ภาษาอังกฤษไม่ดูใหญ่จนโดดเกินไป

Brief English Description
As Thai writing script contains 'upper' and 'lower' glyphs, the traditional design of typography must take these considerations into account by shrinking all the glyphs to fit the typeface's em-height, resulting in much smaller characters.
This results in our font, Latin Modern Math Shrinked, which is a shrinked version of Latin Modern Math, which could be used to typeset equations along with Thai text without making the equations look too large, or Thai texts look too small.
