ฟอนต์ Latin Modern Math Shrinked ออกแบบมาเพื่อให้เรียงพิมพ์สมการใน Microsoft Word คู่กับฟอนต์ภาษาไทยได้อย่างสวยงาม
ทำไมควรใช้ฟอนต์นี้
ฟอนต์ภาษาไทย (ส่วนใหญ่) และฟอนต์ภาษาอังกฤษ ออกแบบด้วยข้อจำกัดที่ต่างกัน ทำให้ขนาดตัวอักษรไม่เหมือนกัน ดังนั้น ใน Microsoft Word เมื่อพิมพ์สมการคู่กับภาษาไทย จะสังเกตได้ว่าฟอนต์ภาษาอังกฤษดูตัวใหญ่กว่าค่อนข้างมาก
ฟอนต์ Latin Modern Math Shrinked เกิดขึ้นมาเพื่อแก้ปัญหานี้ โดยนำฟอนต์ Latin Modern Math มาดัดแปลงด้วยการ "ย่อตัว" ให้เมื่อพิมพ์คู่กับข้อความภาษาไทยด้วยขนาดฟอนต์เดียวกันแล้ว ภาษาอังกฤษไม่ดูใหญ่จนโดดเกินไป
